Chez Jules "LE French Bistro" à Edinburgh

"Il était une fois dans un petit hameau au cœur de la France, un vieux femier élevant ses vaches tendrement. Il les aimait, il leur parlait, les gatait et puis… le jour venu « couic » la vache était tuée gentiment et decoupée avec soins.

Apres quelques jours et quelques semaines, Jules heureux se depechait à faire gouter ses steaks si tendres et si juteux aux fermières des environs…. Le tout arrosé copieusement de vin rouge" … La suite vous connaissez !!

Aujourd’hui le même savoir faire est utilisé chez nous !!

Opening Hours

Open all day, 7 Days, 12 till 10pm (but of course only until 8pm inside)*

Take away (ventes à emporter) from 12 till 10pm 7 days a week

 

 *  Consult the people at the very top for this strange rule, although I guess it could have been worst :

It could have been only 7.46pm on Monday,

or 6.01pm on Tuesday... , it could have been :

Don´t breathe while you eat on a Wednesday,

Make an horizontal cut in your mask in order to eat easily on Thursday,

Do not speak on a Friday, Do NOT speak and do NOT laugh on a Saturday

and

Do NOT yawn on a Sunday after a heavy alcool free Saturday night,

I guess we should all call ourselves really really lucky...

 About time! From 17th of May we are open from 12 till 10.30pm inside and from 12 till 10pm outside (don't ask!!!) 

From that day onward, we will hear again the noise of plates, the"fighting" cutlery, the laughs and excitement, the smell of wine ... The forgotten noise of pulling chairs, the chuckle of waitresses and the swearing of chefs, the music : LA JOIE!

 

 

Better book your table, it will be busy!
